We met on 8th March 2026 at Kirklands Hospital for a morning of procedural skills hosted by an excellent faculty from NHS Lanarkshire, and covered stations including:

• Combined spinal-epidural.
• Surgical chest drain.
• Seldinger chest drain.
• Front of neck access.
• Ultrasound-guided subclavian CVC insertion.

10 delegates attended this brand new event, which received excellent feedback – particularly related to the high quality of the mannequins and trainers used (sheep larynx, thorax etc) and teaching received from the faculty.
